Kona Dance & Performing Arts is a non-profit arts organization in Kealakekua, HI bringing dance and performing arts opportunities to the local youth and community on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our mission is to provide high quality education and instruction in dance and performing arts to the local youth and the Big Island Community with a vision of Every Big Island family empowered through dance and performing arts.

We are looking for a friendly, organized individual to join its team. The Studio Coordinator provides part-time customer service, family/student support, staff support and administrative support to the daily operations of Kona Dance & Performing Arts.

Up to 10-12 hours a week - This position requires a combination of afternoon, evening and weekend shifts. Will be responsible for opening and closing of studio.

-Candidate MUST be able to commit to a flexible schedule. Duties will consist of but not limited to: assisting family needs, ensure class roll & accurate attendance, assist with class transitions & time checks, assist student needs, assist staff needs, maintain studio cleanliness. $22.00 an hour

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week

• 4 hour shift

• Evening shift

• Weekends as needed

 

Experience:

 

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
